Girlfriends Scrap Pink
October 2007
Lisa and I were so excited for our 2nd anniversary event.  We chose Scrap Pink as our charity because we are women and most of our clients are
women.  Breast cancer is a killer and too many women can't even afford the most simple precaution of a mamogram.  That is a problem for us so we
decided to partner with the women's health center at our local hospital, St. Lukes.
The money raised by the event went to helping women who cannot afford it have mamograms.  Luckily for us our girlfriends are generous and we raised
enough money to purchase over a dozen mamograms!

Enough of the soapbox!  The day started with a delightful ride in the Indian Summer morning on a pink beach crusier!  Andrea Christensen and Michelle
Critchfield brought the bike and I took it out for a spin.  It was PinKaLicIoUS!
50 Women and 1 Man!
We held this event at our local downtown soda fountain, Crowleys!  It was the perfect location.  It was cute with all the pink balloons.  We started the day at
noon and went until 10 p.m.  Girlfriends came from all over Idaho and Utah.  It was great to see so many friends in one place.  Christy Barron, who never
misses an event, was one of the first to arrive.  We had several mother/daughter teams, Dianna Goff and her mom Sally Williamson were on hand as well as
Sandi and Hallie Davis and our youngest scrapper Sam Burley and her mom Cyndie!
Check out Sandi and Hallie's
Scrap Pink T's and as always they
brought custom labled water
bottles for everyone!

Welcome to Girlfriends Amy and
Lindsay
Look at this PINK table of girlfriends!
Jackie came the furthest, Judy left the
earliest, and Jann and Vickie had a blast
Hey Becky you look confused...
what is it you don't understand?
Get this...
We love you!
There were great classes taught by Amy, Lindsay and me and tons of give-aways!
Lindsay and Amy gave and gave and gave.  No one went home empty handed!
We laughed, we scrapped, we talked, we gave and gave and gave and we SMILED!
I have never seen so many beautiful smiles and really that's what this is all about.  We connect as women in this wondeful way and
change the world one picture, one layout, one family, one friend, one day at a time.
You have got to love women who scrap!
