| A PINK MESS IN PROGRESS I never make my bed, Diet Coke runs through my veins, and the messier, dirtier, more junked up, “pink-able” pages I can scrap the better. My name is Michelle Critchfield. I am 29 years old and I am a true-blue Idaho Potato. I was born and raised on a farm in Rupert, Idaho and ventured out of Idaho just long enough to get a Nursing Degree at Brigham Young University (GO COUGARS!). I headed back to Idaho and ended up in Twin Falls where I work as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at St. Lukes Magic Valley regional. Somewhere along the way, I married a smokin’ hot longhaired Lutheran-turned-Mormon hunk (aka Michael) and he still, even after 6 years, gives me that little excited funny feeling in my stomach…he is the perfect boy for me. We have added to the Critchfield mix 2 little devils and 1 angel. Ava May is our 3 year old “pink-able” girly-girl whirlwind and she is capital T trouble. Her twin brother Asher is in Heaven and his job is to keep a close watch over us and make sure we stay out of trouble (he may get fired). Truman (aka chewy) is a serious little dude with killer blue eyes. Even at 1..he is already quite the ladies man. They (the above 4 mentioned) are quite possibly the best things that have ever happened to me(even though those little guys are probably going to be the end of me.) I don’t have hobbies, I work, be the mom, clean the house and in the breaks between life, I squeeze in some scrap booking. I think that my life and my scrapbooking is a work, or mess if you will, in progress. I am trying to enjoy the ride to the fullest and take the challenges and opportunities I have been given and mold them into a life that will someday, hopefully be called something beautiful. |
