| we will walk you step by step through our techniques for constructing a magical altered book on week one- On week two we will dress it up with wonderful bits and pieces. Paper, metal, even some unexpected little surprises will adorn our pages. If you are attending the scissors, sander, stapler with extra staples, several foam brushes, cropadile, pliers, distressing ink or chalk pads, box knife or exacto knife. You will need to bring your liquid adhesive as well. Either pva, sufficient. Bring aluminum foil and an embossing gun if you have one We have some tools but you will absolutely have to have a stapler and staples as well as paint brushes, inks and knife. |
| If you are thinking to yourself "I like the book but what would I do with it?" I think I can answer that question! Of course you can add some pictures but you can also add a pressed flower, a newsclipping, movie tickets, airline tickets, a love note (mine is from my grand-daughter), a favorite bit of nothing or something, you can fill this with your scribbles, sketches and thoughts or nothing at all. This is your book so make it special just for you! |
